Today was the NDP auditions. I WAS really nervous about the cartwheel. I HOPED that we would win. Actually, I THOUGHT that we would win.

Anyway, when it was our turn for the performance, we went on the stage. Guess what! I thought that we would play the music form the CD, but we used the musical intruments played by our classmates!!! So when we 1st started, the music was too soft. No one heard so we just started again. This time the music was a bit louder(I think). So the 'choir' started singing, and the musicans continued playing.

Then when the song came to the chorus part, we, the dancers had to start to dance! So we danced... lalalala.. then suddenly the music stopped playing. Then everyone stopped singing. Actually the violins were still playing, but 2 violins are very soft OK!

So then everyone was confused. And Kymberly and me were supposed to be doing the cartwheel after the chorus. I knew that we were meant to do the cartwheel, but when I looked at Kymberly, she didn't even move. So I decided not to do the cartwheel. Soon after the piano stopped playing, the judge came to the front of the stage and started to say that our lyrics were very meaningful. But obviously, we didn't care what she said and we all knew that we were definately NOT getting in to the finals. The judga had cut us short! We hadn't even finished the performance yet.

I guess our whole performance was a BIG mess. So we went down the stage like really sad(or annoyed or frustrated or angry or confused or SOMETHING!!). Then we sat down at the side and almost EVERYONE blamed it on the musicians. But I think that it was not the musicans TOTAL fault. I mean the 'choir' could also have continued singing. But in my opinion, I don't blame anyone.

So we asked for a 2nd chance and the judge said OK. So the 2nd time we went onto the stage, we got into our positions, then SOMEBODY from 5.6 told the judge that it wasn't fair that she was giving us a 2nd chance. So she said that we only had 15 seconds of 'fame' and asked us to come down. EVERYONE was very disapointed. But obviously some people didn't even care...

Then we were dismissed for recess until 10:45am. The dancers(that's me)talked about the whole situation again. and of course, we wasted our recess time. Then me and Zeffy went for recess together. When we were walking up for class, we saw Camellia. She went recess with Jolyn. She looked so happy! Like she didn't have a care in the world. I wonder how some people can act like that right after we humiliated ourselves in front of the whole P5s.
